IPTV on an Android phone and tablet: 5-minute setup

Works on any Android phone or tablet. The player comes from Google Play, the playlist from your Utgard TV account. The picture can be cast to a TV with Chromecast.

What you need

  • A Utgard TV account with an active package or the 24-hour trial.
  • Your playlist link from the “Playlist” section of your account.

No account yet? Create an account and start the trial: only an email is needed, no card.

Open your account in the phone browser, go to “Playlist” and press “Copy link”. Then simply paste it into the app.

Step 2. Install an app and add the playlist

Televizo (free)

  1. Install Televizo and press “plus”.
  2. Choose “Add playlist”, then “URL”, paste the link and save.
  3. Channels, logos and the guide load by themselves.

OTT Navigator

  1. Install OTT Navigator, open “Settings”, “Provider”, “Add provider”.
  2. Choose “Playlist” and “URL”, paste the link from your account.

IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Install IPTV Smarters Pro.
  2. Choose login with a playlist link (M3U URL), enter a name, paste the link and press “Add”.

Step 3. Watching on a TV

Televizo and OTT Navigator have a cast button for Chromecast and Android TV. For everyday viewing it is easier to install the app directly on a box or Android TV: the playlist is the same.

Troubleshooting

  • One channel, “Subscription not active”. The package is not active: pay or start the trial and refresh the playlist.
  • Stuttering on mobile data. The carrier may throttle video. Check over Wi-Fi and pick the HD version of a channel instead of 4K.
  • No picture on some channels. Switch the decoder in the app settings.
